Maybe this video is interesting. They claim to produce a copy of the russian AK 103 in Yemen. At 2.18 there is a close up in the video which says " Made in Yemen". Looks like a crude copy of the russian pattern. The more usual chinese copies of the AK 103 look different. So i am wondering if they are really able to produce something like this?

It would seem the right to keep any bear arms is very popular in Yemen.
I expect they are making them completely from scratch if they do desire. Somewhere I have a set of drawings (PDF) for all the parts in an AK, in Arabic. With proper machines and skilled machinest you can build a complete AK from scratch. I'm sure Yemen has some good machine shops willing to do the work.
It is more difficult to make good plastic moulds for the stocks. They could be easily made on a 3D printer or made from wood and painted black.

Apparently the AK103 from Russia and a copy from China are common in Yemen.
They are making various small arms, rpk, etc in Yemen as well.
