When I ordered my 74, it came with one Russian factory 30 round mag. So I ordered two Pro-Mags to go with it. Total junk. Then would not even fit in the magwell. So I sent them back to Midway USA.

Any info. on where to obtain two good quality 74 mags.?

Thanks all.

Cope's is your best bet with the ruskie mags.
The Polish Tantal mags are available out there to at the moment, which are pretty good as well. ( check the mag forum here to find )

well, I finally got through and ordered two plum Russian 74 thirty rounders (used but supposedly in excellent condition) and two 47 Bulgarian mags. One polymer waffle and one new metal.

Very happy. Thanks for the site.

The Russian Plum magazines that I bought at Copes some time ago arrived in what could best be described as 'like new' condition. Ink stamps were present and the mags did not appear to have been used, let alone inserted into a mag well. Looks like you bought some just in time now that they are sold out!

I just received my shipment. I have to tell you, the two 74 mags are brand new and fit perfectly.

The new Bulgy 47 metal mag and the new Bulgy polymer are outstanding.

I held the authentic polymer next to my pro-mag....What a POS the promag is.

And Cope's was great to deal with when I finally got a hold of them.

Thanks.
