What is interesting is the entry point for the fire selector is the new Russian oval style instead of the older style that is seen on the 84 style and Bulgarian style AKS-74Us. It seems like most of the "correct" receivers for the 1986 AKS-74U is incorrect due to having the "Bulgarian" style entry point, including the 74ULLC receivers.

Nice. Must be a wild, wild environment to have to post something like this to make some money. Guess, it is what it is.

 

Could be a fake, locally (Middle-Eastern) made copy. Some are really close to original and could fool you in photos. To know for sure you'd really have to inspect it in person to see if it was legit or not. I'd hope it's real but that might explain the dimple discrepancy.

 

Receiver detail is correct for an 86, Tula and Izhevsk both switched for the lower dimple on the 86.

Izhevsk May have switched in 85.

I just looked at my reference pics and that gun is 100% OG. I’m gonna bet $3500 buys a Nice AK in Iraq.
