Is there an Ak scope made that is calibrated for the .223 round? Or am I going to have to use a Valdada scope?

Don't think there are any...most are calibrated for 7,62x39, 7,62x54r or 5,45x39.

Perhaps now that some of the former WP countries are joining NATO 5,56 mm calibrated optics will be made. But it would be my quess the would take 5,45 calibrated optics and issue those. (1p29/UPO1, PO 3.5x21)

It is funny you mentioned that. I am buying one because it is calibrated for the 62 grain .223 and that is what I use. I have one on my AR, so I think it will work just fine on my AK and it looks good. MV out.

I pulled my IOR scope off my AR and it seems a little heavy for an AK. You can't beat the price for such a quality scope, buy I probably won't put one on my AK. MV out!

The only problem with the Valdada is that it is Calibrated for a 20" barrel. Maybe go with a rail side mount and a get Russian ATN 5.56 scope.
