The German 98k is an early 1940 from Erma before the code was changed from "27" to "AX". Looks like a correct solid stock, but that's all I can see from the pics.

Obviously it should be all, or mostly matching, and have a correct bolt. More often than not, older rifles that were really used hard in the war had parts changed out due to normal wear and tear. What matches, and what does not?

The VZ24 is likely a standard refurb. Maybe done by the Yugoslavians, or the Romanians. If its a Yugo refurb, it will say Enterprise 44, or the Cyrillic equivalent. Some are arsenal "forced matched" with re-stamped bolts, but are legit in most cases. The example I have was picked off the rack personally in 1994 at the old Springfield Sporters for the princely sum of $165 OTD.
