1972 Izhevsk AKM kit - or is it 1972 Tula?

1972 Izhevsk kit - bolt, carrier, top cover, and gas tube match (top cover has number both stamped and "hen scratched" engraved above it), trunnion doesn't but is 1972 Izhevsk.

Front sight, gas block, handguard retainer, and rear sight base are all cast Izhevsk that I believe to be correct. Recoil spring rod is late cast un-numbered...not correct as an original '72 part, but o.k. as a replacement/refurb part, and kind of cool anyhow. Cast safety/selector lever shaft, cast forked rear trunnion - I believe this is a Tula part, but is proper style and era.

Correct butt stock with sling swivel on the side, and lower handguard with tension spring at front. Nice correct Izhevsk pistol grip too.

I just bought that Tula trunnion with the long receiver stub in your image. It would be nice to have that bolt carrier, gas tube and top cover.

Buttstock is Tula, too.
