Someone in my unit got ahold of a shot to hell 1962 AKMS. People have expressed an interest in pics of it. We're unable to access any photo pages from here. If anyone would be willing to host the pics, let me know and I'll shoot them out.

The people we replaced aquired this AKMS along with a Chinese SKS and a .303 Enfield from some burly dudes who have a knack for shooting bad people in the face. The rifles were a gift, repayment for some work they'd done for the burly dudes. Talking to the burly dudes, the previous owners are no longer among the living.

The bolt and rear sight leaf are missing. The bolt carrier and the top cover numbers match. If there are any details I should have shot, let me know.

I believe so. Some of it looks like bullet holes, while the damage in front of the mag well's hard to tell.
