I know very little about swords/sabres but saw this in a shop and was puzzled by it and was hoping much more knowledgeable folks could provide more information on it.

It appears to be a 1796 or 1811 pattern sabre with the "P" guard style handle. Unfortunately, I couldn't get overall photos of it but it's got the typical sabre curve to it. The handle isn't like the many "P" guard handles I've researched. The scabbard is metal and has the two metal rings on top of it for securing it to a belt along with some scribed writing I also can't make it. It looks as though there are numbers. And I can't make out the letters in the stamping on the blade.

Any help would be great:
