Inconel 625 is a bad ass expensive super alloy. Might explain some of the price.

I would think a gun made from melted particles wouldn't be anywhere near the strength of billet.

I seen a video on YouTube of the gun they printed. While it did shoot, you can tell there was some problems with it. either way, for the price, no thanks.

They could donate it to the NRA museum if no one buys it, I suppose.

Or, is the NRA on the wrong side of 3D guns? Or no side? Haven't had time to keep up.

I don't know. I don't think they came out on a side yet, but could be wrong.

lazer Sinchuring. this may end up being how most Turbine fan blades are made like Blisks. Using a high nickle content alloy like 718 or waspalloy I would love to have a piece of this alloy IN625 just to see whats in it. Titanium ,Cobalt, how much iron does it it have? Tungsten like udimet, bismuth? so nickle must be a common alloy for this process. but twelve grand wow.
