    You are going to hate me..... But the PLO kits were "export" marked rifles that had different selector markings, and no N.Korean star.

    Like you, I found out after I finished my PLO kit back in the day....

    Yeah I know...should have no star and the selector markings that look close to Hungarian infinity symbol and 1. I also believe that NK domestic use rifles have a Korean character on the front trunnion. Oh well, BR did a fantastic job matching the finish and rebuilding this one and the star with Korean markings looks way more interesting and I’m happy with it so it’ll stay this way for now.

    That is close to true but not exactly. I know of one kit that is not an export model and has the NK star and proper markings. The original purchaser still has the kit. Unfortunately, I can't remember if any of the other NK kits we found had NK markings.
