It would be an interesting novelty to own, but I will wait for AIM to put them on sale...

Lately the President hasn't shown much support for the import of ANYTHING into the USA.
Now, if the North Korean's wanted to set up a factory here, and hire American workers? Who knows?

AS a reference point, how long has the Vietnam been on this path to being a trade partner with the USA?
Have we seen any military surplus come out of Vietnam (Blackhawk products don't count!)

As political as this situation is, I think the politicians feel they would get more bang for their buck making a big display of destroying DPRK weapons than by allowing them to be cut up and imported.

North Korea is a listed proscribed country. No defense/firearm imports are authorized to the USA.
That will not change anytime soon.

Haha.. seriously though that would take some doing.

Getting rid of all the restrictions previous presidents have shat out would be a boon. Barrel ban would be a good start. Seeing all those perfectly good cut up barrels makes me sick. "machine gun barrels" my ass.

+ The ITAR rules relaxation is up for FR comment and hopefully will be relaxed for FFL fees and work on firearms.

Just curious... what would you pay for a North Korean Type 58 reweld? Using 100% North Korean parts including barrel and rewelded milled receiver with all markings intact?
