The floral blanket or the butchered AK?

I'd be upset too, but what's rare here isn't exactly rare elsewhere. It's still a waste, but I'd have to think that someone over there would be chewing on their knuckles over something they see here.. what that is I don't know, but I'm sure it exists.. like "Lol we have these all over America!"

I think that it's still probally looked down apon. Not because it's a butchered AK but more so because in county's that certain firearms are considered a status symbol this one seems to be a hack job to promote someone's status.

Of course it is from Pakistan and there has been some shit firearms built there.

Pakistani guns are pretty affordable over there and they make knockoffs of basically any firearm you could imagine. Actual imports of decent guns are pretty rare and very expensive there, from what I've heard. I think their equivalent of something like this that we do in America that makes them cringe would be maybe doing a torture test on a glock that results in the gun being worked to failure or something. An imported glock goes for several thousand over there due to import restrictions, from what I've heard, and that is of course not affordable for the majority of pakistanis.

Yup. Can get a type2 copy or pretty much any AK copy for about $100. They work good with original ammo and not local reloads.

Judging by that one piece FSB/GB/muzzle brake I wouldn't doubt it.

The whole gas block front sight thing is probably paki made. Whatever is going on with the RSB rail thing is probably paki made as well.

The receiver may or may not be russian. The rib near the top rear looks longer than a normal T1. Also the dimple on the selector to lock into the receiver notches looks like it has a weld on it or something. And the mag release rivet doesn't look like an original.

It still could be modified from an original T1 receiver, or it could be 100% paki made. I'd bet money that those grip panels are Russian, though, which makes me think its possible some of the other parts were salvaged from a T1 as well.

im going w/ non russian origin.
2 rivets on the t.g., the selector itself doesnt look right.
looks like the hinge block is integral to the trunnion.

Not too sure about it being a copy. I have never seen a Type1 copy there before and all stamped versions I have seen are kind of mishapen mayne a little crude. The gunsmiths there can adapt/rebuild pretty much any AK so I am guessing its mostly original apart from the front end and stock. They are not that good with stamping the receivers yet.
