Will Jasco epoxy remover effect parkerizing underneath?

I just picked up a rifle that has some type of epoxy paint job over a parkerized finish.
It is runny and has over spray on carrier.
I want to strip off the paint and keep the park if possible.
I've looked through several threads, but could not find this specific information.
If the jasco will eat through the park , any recommendations of what wont?
    Thanks

i really doubt it would might be worth testing it in a small spot under the hand guard or something.
its not like an applied finish or coating its acidic reaction and changes the outer idk microns? thick layer of steel.
that is my unscientific unprofessional take on it
    not taking new work

It shouldn't I used jasco to remove duracoat and it removed it and left the blueing intact. Park should be no different. Jasco just eats away enamel and epoxy type material.

I used it on a couple of oil soaked U.S. Enfields, and it did not harm the bluing.
