tgi had a lot of returned guns to get rid of not that these were bad just the sheer volume id guess so look it over and test fire when you get it before modifying anything.

I picked up my VZ from my ffl today. Very happy with it. It does indeed appear to be Czech made. 15 1/2 inch chrome lined barrel with pinned extension. Barrel has proof marks. I will have to have it milled to double stack. It has a nice paint finish. The trigger guard is VZ2008 style. The sporter stock is nice, but I will change it out.
I think this is a good deal from SOG International. I would recommend it if your in the market for a VZ 58.

You will also need the double stack bolt. I also have one and from my research nobody wants to take on the project and open up the magwell.
I email Dan from Czech point and he told me that they don't do any conversion anymore.
I m probably end up selling mine after elections and buy a double stack vz58.
Good luck with the project and let us know if you find anyone that will do the conversion.

I'm having trouble finding a gunsmith to mill this out. I tried Two Rivers Arms, MY Guns Northwest, and Project Guns. All said they are too busy.
Is it something a local smith would be able to do. If anybody has some recommendations I would appreciate it.
