Newsom insists on continuing the stay at home recommendation (not an actual law - but it is viewed as a law) and is asking for money from the Federal Gov... cause it maskes sense for others to pay for us staying at home.

Pay up suckers and help out your brothers and sisters in Cali.
It's the right thing to do.

What a crock of shit. States can recover from it alone. They just don't want to. Trump should have never did the stimulus. It just incentives governors to keep their state locked down. States cut taxes and spending while ending the lock downs you will see a recovery. Cut regulations and watch states recover faster. What your post does not mention is that Newsom is going to give money to illegals.

One good thing about Ohio is it is in the state constitution the budget must be balanced. So Dewine is making cuts to the government because he said he does not want to dip into the rain day fund. Dewine said he probably thinks he will have to go into that fund eventually. I think the only reason why he is opening up Ohio is because he does not want the government to lose anymore tax money so he does not have to make more cuts.

Being how the states are starting to open up and businesses resume again, the new issue is employees refusing to go back to work. With Unemployment and the extra $600 a month on top of it due to covid19 legislation, its more money sitting on your ass in certain jobs.

    Good job politicians....

    Um, no.
What my post does not say is that the rest of the US will pay for the illegals' stimulus program.

Socialism was never implemented so easily anywhere around the world.
US is again number 1 and proved to be the most ingenious country in the world. Just like that, the political system was changed overnight.
Show me another country in which socialism was implemented that quickly, without a war, without a revolution, without victims, without an occupation, without political prisoners, etc

I thought there were some States that were cutting of benefits to people who refuse to return to work. Without people paying into the system from your regular payroll taxes and business taxes, the unemployment coffers will run dry. I believe Ohio said that will be case in sometime in June. The States to watch are Michigan and the PRK, because both are going to be really hurting.

We're not there yet, and I doubt the Feds will bailout the PRK, because they want to extend bailout money to illegal aliens. Nope.

I havent been on unemployment since 1993 but i do recall having to check in every week and prove that i was actively looking for work. Couldn’t turn down a job offered to me. Every since i was old enough to work Ive know that to be standard policy. Things are different from 30 years ago. Today’s government/states have a longer lag time on everything. I guess if people can get a couple days/weeks/months before being cut off then so be it. Sure hope the states jump on it and squash it as soon as they can.

The really fishy thing is that somehow CA has a budget surplus(allegedly), yet we have $1.5 trillion in debt and its only increasing... Where dat money going Newsom? Why you not paying off the debt?

I'm sure that will work out well, because bad things never happen when you print money, then hand it out for free.
