145 CEOs send letter to senators for gun control

145 CEOs of major US companies sent a letter to senators wanting red flag laws and background check on all guns. Dick's signed the letter. What a shock. Not. Levi and Pinterest signed the letter also. Here is the letter with everyone who signed it.

I'll have to save a copy of that list for future reference.

You know who I think needs to have more power over my rights and liberties? Corporate CEO's that's who!

We need to get this publicized as much as possible. These CEOs and their companies support stripping away Due Process as well as the 2nd Amendment.

It's funny how the leftists are always prattling on about the evil of corporations, but have no problem granting those who run them credibility if they support gun control. I do appreciate them letting me know who not to do business with.
Rights are inherent. They do not come from another's wallet.

Well with the current direction that technology is headed, I’m not the least bit surprised that these corporate suits have an invested interest in Gun Control:P I mean some of these very corporations have been working with big government to institute things like Social Credit Scores, and Red Flag laws.

It’s dollar signs and power play.

Glad I did not see the major chemical company I work for on the list. They have already gone crazy enough the last few months. That would have been the final straw and I would be seeking employment elsewhere.

Nobody signed that letter. There is no official letterhead either. Im wondering just who doctored up this letter.

This seems like another ploy by the antis and from the NY times too boot. Doctored letters to gain some ground which has been a common tactic from the left for years. Until i see actual signatures, im not buying it.

    This.

I would be skeptical of anything from NYT. If true though the signers can choke on it.

I also would not doubt its more of the left's overall lies and misinformation campaign. It reminds me of a quote "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State."*

*-Whether the above quote is real or paraphrased is debatable, but it fits the discussion and you get the idea.

If these CEOs did not sign the letter they would let people know about it. Would be easy to do with social media. It is not too hard to believe these CEOs signed the letter. Dick's hired an anti-gun lobbyist. Levis is a leftist company. Some companies like GE are into crony capitalism. Why would there be a letterhead? It is for 145 different companies. It is not from an anti-gun organization.

We have a signature for a reason. Whether they are antigun or not, without a signature it doesnt mean shit. In this instance, i still dont see any signatures. Fact is, those antigun CEOs on that page are perfect for anyone to use them for their agenda. As far as a letterhead, CEOs from multimillion dollar companies coming together to address congress you can bet they would come up with something better than a “to whom it concerns” opening.

Even if there were signatures, who gives a fuck? Like congress is gonna make a decision based on a bunch of CEOs requests? Like their opinion is any better than someone who isnt a CEO? In dont think so.

There are not actual signatures like on a contract. That would take over a year mailing the same letter to 145 different CEOs so each could sign it. They put there name to the letter which is like signing it. I have not heard a single one of these CEOs come out and say they did not sign it. Politicians and anti-gun organizations get a lot of their money from rich people and corporations. I think people would like to know what companies are spending money to try to take away their rights so they can chose whether to do business with these companies or not.
Just because the media lies often does not mean they don't tell the truth once in a while. So called "Conservative" media, websites, bloggers, and radio talk show hosts do not always tell the truth or at least not all the facts. If they did we would not have Trump as President. A third party candidate would be President or Trump would at least not got the Republican nomination.

Ted Cruz has something to say about this letter from CEOs.

I'd rather see a letter of those businesses who support the constitution.
