Not Suprised at all, Trump is not Pro Gun, his comments during parkland, and his actions when he went after Bump Stocks should be enough to clear that up quick.

Not just Trump, it seems none of the Republican Senators gives a flying F about politically loyal gunowners. Maybe I missed it (point it out if I did), but after listening to the hearing sporadically throughout the day, never heard a single gun-friendly question about his position supporting 2nd amendment rights.

    Exclamation

    Surprise!

Trump is one of them, not We The People. He is Deep Swamp.

    Sorry, kids.

At the request of GOA, I wrote my Senators to vote Barr down.

Reminder that the barrel ban happened under Bush.

I don't trust any of these people, and this is just like any other political cycle. What's *really* bad for the country and the people, both 'sides' will come together and hammer some really nasty laws through..

    They're for them. not us.

Sure sounded like the 2nd Amendment's friend on the campaign trail and when he spoke at the 2016 NRA convention. Sad to see it was all lies for votes... again. At least Kasich is going to run against him in 2020. Now there's a Republican choice!

    Nope! Note one F!

This recent election I had a choice between a Rep. candidate who used to be pro 2A but now votes for certain restrictions and a Dem. candidate who's vocally anti 2A. It's almost like you're left voting for the person who will let your rights drag on a little while longer.

Republican Sen. Brian Fitzpatrick, former Special Assistant US Attorney, an FBI supervisory special agent and was attached to US special forces in operation Iraqi Freedom. He's always been pro 2A and has held a few meet and greet at the local gun store here. However, right after Florida shooting he "cried" and then became the only Republican in the U.S. House to back a bill preventing a potentially dangerous person from owning or buying a gun. Hes also the only House Republican co-sponsor listed on a proposal introduced this week to raise the minimum age for purchasing semiautomatic rifles to 21. An AR-15 type weapon was used in Florida. Fitzpatrick also was an original co-sponsor of a background check bill from U.S. Rep.*Mike Thompson, D-Calif.

He also supports banning the rapid-fire bump stock accessories used in the Las Vegas concert shooting, and reversing restrictions preventing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from studying gun violence.

Its important for Second Amendment advocates to want these things,*

Is there even a point to voting anymore? Seems like it's just shades of leftist liberal.

Not surprised one bit. That is why I never voted for Trump. He was a Democrat until he decided to run for President. Every one who voted for Trump ignored his past statements and actions. And people ignored what he said at the first Republican debate during the primary elections when he was asked about health care. He said people should not die in the street and government should pay for health care. Sounds exactly like a Democrat talking point. Trump used Saul Alinsky tactics on other Republicans in the primaries especially Ted Cruz. I voted for Cruz in the primaries and Evan McMullin for President.

There were and always are other choices than the two clowns from the major parties running. I voted for neither Clinton or Trump. This is why primaries are important. Cruz led the fight in Heller vs DC. But people chose the Progressive Trump instead.
