Found one of these on Gunbroker. Coming from Bulgaria:

It appears to me that a SAM7SF would look correct with a Bulgarian AK74 (Type III) bayonet and scabbard. The SAM7SF closely resembles a regular Bulgarian AK74 but has a forged/machined receiver. I am not personally familiar with this rifle, but from the pictures I've seen, the front of the barrel and the bayonet mounts it appears to be the same as an AK74. The correct bayonet would be the AK-127B also listed in the K-VAR listing above.

    What's "reasonably priced" to you?

Incomplete Yugoslavian are common and run around $12 or 15 if you just want something to stick on the end of the SAM.

That is set up for a different type of barrel.

    Correct.

The black Bulgarian "AK74" bayonet is the one that you want. THey are one of the most common and cheapest bayonets you can find.

Thanks for the clarification. FWIW, I did ask "Ivan" if it would fit my AK. Surprisingly or not, he said it would.

I realize now how ambiguous a word "reasonable" can be. I'm liking your opinion on the matter!
