Now that the CLEO signoff is done, I think the engraving part of NFA stuff is probably the most annoying part of the process. I read reviews about Tar Heel State Firearms engraving services and they almost seemed too good to be true. Couldn't be happier with their service. It's only $30 per firearm, you do not need to disassemble anything, and both times I've used them they engraved and shipped them back to me within 24 hours of receiving the package. The results themselves I'm beyond happy with:
The AR is particularly good, again no disassembly of the trigger guard and you really can only see the engraving if you are looking for it. I had to put my flash on to get a good pic:
Overall, highly recommend: https://tarheelstatefirearms.com/
