    help on ATF form 1

I'm sending in a form 1 for my SLR-104UR. What do you guys put in line 4a? Its made at Arseanl Bulgaria and imported by Kvar Las Vegas. The receiver has arsenal Las vegas engraved on it. I just want to get it correct the first time. I have had delays with ATF forms before and I would likw to avoid it if possible. Thanks

On the ones I’ve done, I listed the original manufacturer and not the importer. 2 have been approved so far.

Did you just put Arsenal Bulgaria, or is there more

I know this might seem like conflicting info but the form itself says you can use both or either or. My last one for my Draco AIMR clone was approved November 2017 and all I put was Century Arms, and their state.

So in your case Arsenal, Bulgaria is fine or Arsenal, LV will work also.

It's interesting that the most recent version of the form asks for the "Name and Address of Original Manufacturer and/or Importer of Firearm (if any)". That leaves us wondering under what conditions they want both. When I filled out my first Form 1 using this most recent version, I put the complete name and address of both the original manufacturer and importer. It was approved. The next time I did it, I just put the name, country and city of the original manufacturer and the name, state and city of the importer. It was approved. I'll just continue to do the same going forward.

Rights are inherent. They do not come from another's wallet.

Even though it is a standardized form, I think whichever is acceptable is on the whim of the particular examiner. They know enough that firearms are manufactured in foreign countries and then imported here, so placing one or the other or both really doesn't constitute some kind of egregious lack, or withholding of information. Being a dot gov employee myself, I liken this to be similar to spelling out or abbreviating cities and states in reports or forms. I might be OK with an abbreviation, but my supervisor may tell me to spell out "Philadelphia" for example. No one is lying or dodging, he just prefers things spelled out.

Just got my third sbr stamp in today, I was worried because I listed name and address of original manufacture as ROMARM and CUGIR, ROMANIA. It's stamped ROMARM/CUGIR ROMANIA on the receiver.
