    Here are a couple of pics of the Bulgarian RPK-74 kit built as a House Gun on the NDS-8 receiver.

    Here is an RPK that the Iraqi Army was using in 2005. My friend took these pics at one of the gates to Camp Justice, Iraq. Looks like a Romanian.

    Finally finished mine. It is a non matching kit, but it head spaced as well as any of my matching ones. The original finish on the barrel and dust cover was a nice blue/black parkerize, so I left it alone and matched the finish on the DCI receiver by just using Casewell Black Oxide straight over the raw heat treated receiver before I assembled or riveted. I think it matches pretty well. The wood I scored from Stottman quite a while ago, as what came with it was pretty tough.

    Started out as a used Plum kit from Ohio Rapid Fire
    * All matching
    * Finish was about 60% remaining

    Plum mag came from Andrei a few years ago. (Wish I would of bought more at $180 each)

    Yugoslavian M72AB1 (RPK) Light Machine Gun. A beautifully engineered top quality 7.62mm x 39 selective-fire light machine gun based on the Soviet RPK. It features a finned barrel with folding bipod and clearing rod, wooden foregrip, 1000-meter sights and 30-shot magazine. This is the rarer model designed for use by airbourne troops which has an under-folding metal butt stock.

    Romanian RPK

    I built this one about a year and a half ago or so. Bentmetal blank, new wood, Duracoat finish looks quite a bit like parkerizing.
