When I called him he asked me how many I wanted. So he must have a few. The place is Van`s Deer Processing & Sporting Goods, Brandon, MS. I have been looking for one for along time, It`s at my FFL, 9 more days till I can pick it up.

9 days? Are you in a state with a waiting period?

If you have to have a Saiga, you surely could have paid more. Are you able to/plan to do any converting?

We have a 10 day waiting period here in California. I plan to convert it. I found 2 websites that sell conversion parts Dinzagarms.com and https://www.carolinashooterssupply.com/ I will be looking for the red Russian furniture for it also. Some of the Saiga`s are have the sight and gas blocks spot welded instead of pinned so they are a pain to disassemble. I`m going to replace the front sight block and thread the barrel.

1 day, 3 days, 10 days, I really don't understand the waiting game thing. When I got to Florida it was 0 day wait on long guns and 3 days on pistols without conceal carry permit. Now, or at least in Hillsborough, you have to wait 3 days on long guns too if you do not have CCW. I guess it's just a Hillsborough County thing, which doesn't make any sense to me because I was under the impression counties weren't allowed to rectify their own gun laws. I have a CCW so it really doesn't effect me but its bullshit.

It's a "cooling off period". The automatic assumption is that you're buying it to cause harm to someone, otherwise you wouldn't need it! So this way you have 10 days to cool off and think about your possible future actions

These days that just gives the lowlife slugs just more time to stew in their hate, plan their evil and write their manifesto.
