Sorry, but one more question. Are the feed ramps breaking off the Russian Molot 45rnd 5.56 mags that Royal tiger is selling for $100.00? OR are the feed ramps breaking off provided USA mag that is being shipped with the rifle?

    The factory mags.

Basically, the feedramp ON THE RIFLE is added in the US, to make it work with other magazines. The factory Molot mags have the feedramp built it, so they are unneeded if only using the factory mags.

Could you just remove the feedramp?

I can attest to their accuracy as well. I first shot mine at 100yds at a milk jug (its the quickest form of targets I have) first 8 shots I fired hit the jug. I stretched it on out to 300 yds and I was managing around a 12 inch group with iron sights (I will also tell you my shooting is very, very pedestrian at those ranges).

As for the brass thing, it does like to throw them a good ways. I always get some cardboard to stop it from throwing them 40 feet.

Thanks for the clarification on the "Feed ramp" mag issues. I got my 5.56 Russian 45 rnd. mag out and compared it to my Russian 5.45 45rnd. black mag. I just didn't know that the 5.56 mags were commercial grade, and thought they were military, so now I understand. I guess that even if the feed ramp breaks off, it will not matter, as the rifle has the US added ramp. It looks like the ramp on the Russian mag was grafted on anyway. While I have this thread's attention, do all types of Russian optics work on the rails on this weapon? I can see that the rail looks like the ones seen on the Vepr rifles, and not on the Saigas, which I thought was the standard.

Man these pics are a killer, I gotta get one of these. Got my money tied up in different calibers, but how often can you get a factory made semi RPK for a $1000 bucks??

It's worth mentioning that Royal Tiger has the 45 round Molot makes for significantly cheaper now. Seventy bucks versus the previous one hundred.

    Shop - Royal Tiger Imports

I just ordered 2 more so I can fill my mag pouch. Four x 45 = 180.... hmmh, weak sauce basic load, should have ordered another.....

Some pics of the pouch. Has belt loops on the back and the shoulder strap. Swallows the Molot .223 45 round mags easily.

Anybody know what the little "flatish" pockets on the front are for?
