I never said it will be 3800 or below, I said it is expected to be above 3800 or so. I was hoping it to stay at that price or so. When I 1st started it and we priced things accordingly, I was expecting for cheaper labor but Danuvia forced our hand when they started kipping our workers for the summer thus forcing us to contract out assemblers and builders differently.
For that I am kinda forcing the cart before the horse.
But if we didn't push forward, we would have lost workers until 2021.
Why is this important? Because we are having the school as interns and the pay rate is cheaper and also in Hungary, due to labor laws, there is no part time, only full time work.
So we only have these specially trained workers for the summer and nothing else.
As FEG can't afford FTE workers now.
When I said 3800, that was our target without the scope. But I never said it was going below.
Also, to remove all taint, we sourced our barrel blanks from Lothar and another European NATO country plus use our FEG certified barrels.
But here is the deal, the barrels we got from this other country is thicker a tiny bit..so we decided to machine it to this thicker sized barrel.
For this, I apologize but it was make or break this last two weeks and it really stressed us a bit in losing these workers.
But this all started when I found the tooling, machines, blueprints, tech specs, and NOS parts nearly 6 months ago in the warehouse and it has been a Sherlock Holmes style mystery for me since then.
I apologize but it is definitely going to be above 3800 for these 1st batch.
Other batches, prices will stabilize as we got a schedule and we we build up the parts and assembly schedule.
Either way,.we move forward....but I promise you that it will be worth it for the features we are adding to it to include a suppressor cutoff on the gas if one wants to pop off the site and get it threaded for a suppressor, match grade trigger, and other features.
Not to mention the 1st shot in getting around our silly laws on this gorgeous rifle system into the US in 25 years.
