    Front trunnion ID

I'm still learning; sorry for the new guy question. Trying to ID a front trunnion in a kit, mainly the year. Will try to post a pic if needed.

I think it has been scrubbed as it doesn't have the usual EG marking of 2 digit year, letter, 4 digit number. Instead, it looks like it was ground down and then just has a 4 digit number. Elsewhere on the trunnion, stamps are 12, S, square with circle, triangle, K3 oval and few more letters on the top front.
