I have several. If interested, send a PM letting me know what Northridge is charging, I'll beat their shipped price by a couple bucks.

I'd like to clarify - their particular shipment of EG kits may not have come with cleaning rods, but East German produced 7.62x39 rifles were equipped with cleaning rods originally.

I don't know a source save for the secondary market and most end users don't know how to tell one from Romanian, etc. The EG ones do have the cleaning patch slot at least that is a start.
Constantly studying spots welds, mag well dimple shapes, center support rivet heads and selector markings for the last 12 years...

BTW - Keep your BFH away from my AK!

I am interested in a source for an MPi-KM cleaning rod. From the bottom up in the photo is an East German, then Polish (middle), and Russian (top). I'm not sure if they all looked this way but the one rod I have has a taper at the end unlike the Russian and Polish. If anyone finds a source please post about it.

It would a little but your small deep gash is less visible than the long shallow slash (grinder mark?) on mine. They all have a little character.
