I was talking to the receptionist at work today, we both agree that living in comifornian means our vote does not count for senate and president. So she is voting Johnson. I told her there is one thing that matters above all else, there is going to be 2 to 4 supreme court vacancies in the next term besides the one vacancy now. Do you want Trump or clinton to appoint them.

I have been buying a case of ammo every month for the past 2 1/2 years along with kits, receivers, barrels and I wont stop now.

The Captain's Journal ?We Conspire To Produce An Unaware And Compliant Citizenry?

One of John Podesta’s emails released by WikiLeaks this week exposes how progressive elites seek to exploit the unwashed masses. The email features one of Podesta’s colleagues from the Center for American Progress admitting that the institutional left “conspires to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry,” ostensibly to impose their radical agenda on us without much resistance.

Now if we could get this much effort put toward paying off the National Debt, we might have it done in four years. Instead we will play stupid games, brake laws, tear up the Constitution and see if we can't ban some guns.
You see, they've got the "unaware and compliant Citizenry" thing about 85% complete.

Wait. Are you blind or willfully ignorant to the Right doing the same thing with its own flavor of unwashed masses?

So you found a Liberal Socialist calling White people racist? I bet that took what, 20 seconds to search out?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Wise
One commenter found Wise's remarks demeaning to anti-racist work done by people of color.[17] Two others compared Wise to Hugo Schwyzer, who was famous in feminist circles but later exposed for misogynistic attitudes.[17] Wise posted a response on Facebook saying in part, "I won't try and defend the tone of most of my remarks. It was inappropriate. Period. [...] I fell into the same kind of vitriolic and sometimes personal attack mode that had gotten me angry in the first place. I shouldn't have. I will strive to do better."[17]

Now read that and digest it. That's a big WTF moment now isn't it? You're white so you can't know about racial issues or be taken seriously when you fight against it. Hmmmm, that's a big old spoonful of White Guilt, No Thanks!
That both parties play the game is certainly True, but the Leftist Progressives, who this guys rhetoric sounds an awful lot like. have held a stranglehold on keeping the racial divide alive since the post civil war era of "Jim Crow."

That the Left now has changed it's tune a bit to appeal to the masses doesn't mean that they have changed the end goal, they have just found a more appealing way to enslave the citizenry by division.

Hillary wants to reinstitute the 1994 "Assault" Weapons ban her husband signed into law and this time make it permanent---no sunset or expiration provision as existed in the prior law. This means no more future production of our popular AK47s, AR15s, Ruger Ranch Rifles, etc. etc.

None of that will happen even if she wins if the Republicans maintain control of the House of Representatives which is apparently likely from what I can tell. She may try to regulate by executive orders what she cannot legally sign into law--we hope the NRA will quickly file suit to stop her on that.

She also proposed a 25% tax on gun sales.

She also believes thugs are simply "bored youth." There is a reason the Fraternal Order of Police is supporting Trump and not her.

In any event I will boycott the third and final debate. Have never been interested in Jerry Springer-type entertainment.

This is a bit of a read, but a great article, I highly recommend it as it well explains a big part of how we got here.

Articles: Public Education: Progressivism's Unbeatable Advantage

And what is compulsory or "universal" schooling, in a nutshell? It is the legally enforced diluting of parental authority over the raising of children, with intellectual and moral lessons, goals, and methods regulated by the government. It is usually undertaken in government buildings away from the family home, and under the supervision of various levels of government agents trained in accordance with government standards to represent and administer government policy regarding the proper rank-ordering of society, the attitudes and skills deemed by the government to be most socially useful, and the pre-emptive extinguishing or subduing of beliefs, attitudes, and behavior judged to be undesirable to the government for any reason. It weakens the natural attachments to family and familial associations in favor of cultivating alternative attachments to government officers, and to the artificial, government-designed social order of the school. Broadly, it encourages feelings of submissiveness to, and dependence upon, the opinions and judgments of an abstract collective, thus effectively discouraging independent thought, thwarting the development of self-reliance, and in general ensuring that no one ever actualizes his full intellectual and practical potential.
At this point, no doubt, progressive readers are rising to object that the preceding description completely misrepresents the purpose and value of public education, while many conservatives, I imagine, may be ready to accuse me of weakening my case with hyperbole. To those critics, or to those among them prepared to engage honestly with this subject matter, I issue a friendly challenge: Go back and reread the offending paragraph, this time without the presuppositions we have all had drilled into us about the supposed necessity of public schools. Find in that paragraph one sentence, one phrase, one adjective that may properly be said to exaggerate anything, or indeed to say anything at all apart from a simple matter-of-fact description of public school.

They simply use the system in which they have been so well entrenched to a very great advantage.

I'm sensing arfcom style defeatism in this thread, we can all agree both likely winners are awful, and you can bet that this isn't gonna end election night, both candidates will not likely concede defeat on election night, and both are already facing lawsuits and or possible criminal charges.
One thing you all need to shut up and just do is to vote down ballot for Republican candidates, you need to realize that we're actually lucky to have a major political party that's willing to defend firearms rights, how do you think the Australia ban happened?
Y'all can bitch and moan all you want but if you abandon a party structure willing to defend your rights then we as a community will continue to diminish as a demographic along with influence.

Lucky? There is no luck to it. It's our constitutional right to bear arms as it is freedom of speech and other rights. To think that we are "lucky" is to admit defeat and not hold these corrupt politicians responsible for a job they are suppose to be doing. They were sworn in to uphold the Constitution and serve the people. It's what they get paid for! I will never think that I'm lucky that politicians that want to take my rights away are allowing me to have certain items. If they are not doing their job then they need to be removed from it.

As far as Australia and other countries, they lost firearms because right to bear arms was never written into their version of the constitution. I gaurentee that we would have also if it wasn't written into our constitution.

Since tinfoil hattery is so enjoyable, then I must bite. If Texas goes you can add Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Idaho and a few others.

We are two nations now, we have two clearly divided opinions on how we want to be governed, taxed and who comes here and how they become Citizens.
That the "Elites" have become so out of touch with the Heartland that they began calling the "Flyover States" said an awful lot about how much give a damn they held for the people that occupy[y those States.
The better effort to advance our Countries future should be given to education, technological advances and industry rather than division by race and class and the concentration of power in Washington D.C.
We are watching the Liberal/Progressive Political Class and their lackeys the MSM gut our future in the name of Political Correctness. Good men are ruined by innuendo and rumor while thieves and traitors walk Scott free.

I'll be voting for Trump...he would not be my first choice, but he's much better than Hitlery. Who knows, he may turn out to be our version of Cromwell.
