    3. Wrap up the guns in your towels and pack them tight in the box. You may need some extra towels for additional padding.

    4. That's it. Looks like normal packages to the neighbors, it's cheap, and it works.
    Cardboard is great...till it rains.

Case update: I have ordered a case from Ebay (mentioned in a previous post). I'm torn between the more authentic route (military surplus) and something "Blackhawkish" tactical.

I'll try the one I ordered, and if it doesn't fit or look like it will work then I'll go the newer route. I currently carry my C39V2 in a standard Allen rifle case. Nothing fancy or genuinely AK about it but it works.

Thanks again for all you feedback.

That doesn't seem insurmountable, just stick them back in the vehical.

Just grab a laundry bag like you get from the dry cleaners and you are good to go.

On the other hand, if you want something actually nice and that may offer a bit of protection:

Padded violin case FTW. I am going to replace the egg crate foam with the good stuff from pelican.

My MAADI would fit with a folding stock:

Phitz has all kinds of cases and even a hard sided version of this violin/viola case..

I'm using one of these: 26 Inch Double Discreet Square Carry Rifle Case - Black - Galati Gear | Galati International. Not cheap but I like it. I also like these: M240/M249 Spare Barrel Carry Bag With Sling- Great AK & Carbine Case. Not a lot of padding but I feel it's adequate under most circumstances for me.
