If you're asking me I got mine from an ammo dealer/collector at a reasonable rate. Century imported them a while back. As for the newer ones; they're available through the usual ammo dealers from time to time.

Those are pretty cool, but I believe the newer ones in the white box are slightly more powerful, or so I've read.

Interesting, I was thinking the opposite.. I guess a test is in order! I need to get some of the newer ones anyway.

    early receiver type, milled M70

I figured I might as well post these pics. This was built by Brendyn. It is the early type of milled receiver M70 with the recessed area at the barrel pin.

^^& Nice step pin milled Zastava milled rifle.
    An uncommon variation.
    Looks great., like the patina.

I have a kit like that as well.
    Needs a weld up job.

Yes, I haven't seen very many of these; mine is an A-block serialized at about 55,000.

I was fortunate to have my choice of rears and was able to match the direction of the buffing lines from front stub to rear. This makes it much better looking in my opinion. My one regret is not trying to have faked original buffing lines through the welded areas; I may try to add those or have them added at some point.

That said, Brendyn did an excellent job on this... the front stub was clipped very tight, well into the lightening cut and he did a great job.
