Sorry for the image link, but that’s the only way I know how to post pics off mobile.

    The sling really makes it.

Thanks, it’s actually a decent makeshift sling. Very comfortable and stylish . I might get that one guy from Peshawar on here to get a a real deal Pashtun style leather sling for another khyber style rifle. Probably a ZUSA m92 when they get shipped in.

Yes sir they do! I really think it makes a rifle “ yours “ and yours only. That’s why I like them, same with Yugo trench art.

Still need to find a barrel; had a lead on one from a m90np someone converted to 300BO, but no dice. Would have been ideal as it would need minimal work to be suitable. It would be cool if Zastava USA brought these in as pistols.

Have you considered using an already chambered replacement barrel from a bolt gun? I've read of some people doing that for AKM based 5.56 builds

Or just turn down a blank to spec. Don’t know his experience with this particular variant but Tim at Two Rivers has done a bunch of that work.

Yeah, I’m just being picky. They’re making/having some barrels made for the kits they’re building. I’ve talked to them about it a couple times and If I can’t come up with one by the time they get theirs figured out they’ve said I could probably get a barrel through them.

    Ems,
I'm getting ready to get the barrels going and was going to make a post about them. I would like to get the numbers up on the barrels so we can get them made and get a better deal on them. Right now we have more of the 14.5" barrel kits and can include the 11.4" barrel in that run of 14.5" and then cut off the front, move the front journal back and then thread them to the 12mm. Right now we have 4 of the 18" barrel kits and would like to get the numbers up to at least 10. These barrels will be pricey but they will also be correct and chrome lined but I guess that's the nature of small run production. Let me know if you want to get in on it. I can't tell but I think you have one of the 14.5" kits?

Yep mine’s 14.5”. If the twist rate is correct and they’re chrome lined I’m probably in. I’ll shoot y’all another email here in the next day or two, thank you for the heads up, I’m really eager to get this project finished up!

Although its damn near impossible to find real grenade launching blanks, the PPU stuff does very well, and launched my grenade a little over 100M. Damn fine looking rifle there!

I agree, nice rifle! As for blanks, I have some of these older PPU blanks. I emailed them and they confirmed they are military blanks. Definitely corrosive. I am wondering how much further they will go than the modern PPU blanks.
