ALl matching except selector lever , The gas tube matches but not pictured. 1970 Izzy PLO rifle . Its built on an Ewbanks and built by me . But after listening to some oppinions I am breaking this down and building it on a NDS premium receiver with markings by POH.and correcting selector with a russian replacement.

Here's a little more Soviet porn. It's all Rooski except for the compliance parts and the Galil mag. Started out as a Saiga 223-16". Not a clone of any specific model but none the less all russian.

    Hey"X"...

Your Saiga/AK-103 conversion is "741", mine is "707." Funny that mine is also dimpled but does not have the sear/"Y" stamp.

Looks like a Chris Butler conversion?... Cause it looks just like mine

I wonder why the trunion is marked "2004" and the receiver is marked "2006"?

Bulgie AKS74, original Bulgarian receiver with Y dimple. Go fast pin never installed.... Sovietized
FEG type III AK47, modified select fire rifle. Disconnector shortened for semiauto only fire....Sovietized
Saiga223/AK102 clone. Flashhider made by Chris Butler. FSB is bulgarian. Beryl magazines as they are the closest thing to original Russian AK101/102 mags..

Very few of these in here, it seems.

    (My current wallpaper

    Details:
1984 Tula AKS74U clone built on a Bulgarian kit. Handguards, stock, grip, and sling are all original Soviet. Trunion and receiver engraving done by Engraving By Angela. Rifle was built by Jesse Droesch at 762LLC. The last things I need to do are: get vents cut in handguards by Z_Recto, get a plum polyamide grip (probably going to be a Molot or Izzy from Tantal), and get selector detent notches engraved (Orion Arms).

All you guys have some AWESOME!!!!! Russian clones. I especially love rayman's collection! And Thekatar's RPK74 ROCKS. I can't wait til I get my RPK74 done. I get the rifle next week. Needs some work done, though. Probably going to be a month or two before I get it complete.

I think this needs a bump.... Every forum has a build pic thread on the first page but the russian one.

Agreed. A sticky would be nice.
In keeping with the theme, here is my Late AKM clone based on a Saiga that is waiting on some Soviet wood. The slant brake has since been added.
