    1987 Izzy AKS-74N

A customer put this (expensive) idea in my head, and I had to build it. Started off with an '87 Rguns kit. Found a supplier in Ukraine thay had the correct, mint condition Izzy rear trunnion, stock, and latch parts. Added a Bulgarian (Arsenal) barrel, and a Recreator Blanks receiver. Already had a small supply of correct rails purchased from Tantal's former company.
Only the receiver and barrel have been refinished to match the original parts.

Now I'm building one for the guy that caused me to have to spend all this money. 😁

    Very nice!
If you don’t mind me asking, where did you get that mustard colored sling? I’ve tried to order them before but never show up correct color.

I honestly don't know where I got the sling from. I've been picking up parts for more than a few years.
Have you tried Gunbroker, or even eBay?

Ivan Drago will sell you one for $60 on GB LOL

His rigorous hand-select process that consists of glancing at a pile of slings and picking out a mustard one for you adds a $45 premium to an otherwise $15 sling.

Very cool build there, sir. Digging the correct rail. Now go get one of those giant night vision devices to mount on there!

I’m done with Gunjoker and 2 attempts on eBay got faded/distorted versions of green or tan despite pic and descriptions being mustard. If I can’t get one for $20 or less then I’ll just keep waiting for one I can see in person before I buy. Thx.

No sir, but I will have an 88 fixed stock for sale sometime in the not too distant future.

It's amazing how similar this build is to the one I am getting done right now. Only difference is mine is an 1988. Looks gorgeous and makes me that more excited for mine. Just waiting for the builder to get back to me

I've even got the RPG sight to go with it!

And when you say expensive you aren't kidding!

Im also running an Arsenal Barrel, ReCreator receiver, Ukraine sourced rear trunnion parts and Collector source RMP3 rail. Crazy how we basically did the same exact thing for our builds

That rifle is beautiful. If I may ask, where does one acquire an Izzy stock, trunnion, and latch? I may want to do this to my ‘88 kit now...
