    Cloneing dreams come true

I have been working on this thing for a long time now, I'm really in love with the early stamped ak's speshly russian ones and for some reason the trainer rifles are cool to me truly my dream rifle here if it was the real deal that is. But I started with a 1964 romy og barreled front end Hungarian carrier romy top cover and TG Childers receiver technos paint. Og paint on the hg's gastube recoil n rear trunnion. I scrubbed the trunnion and got Thor's hammer to create me some custom etching stencils and went to town I just need to paint one of my Russian laminate grips get the right era Russian rear sight leaf and get a virgin bolt fitted then it should be done. It's been in my mind for a long time to make one of my Russian kits into a trainer clone but I figured if I was going that far I mite a well really clone my dream rifle here she it

Super cool. Before the flood of the ATI and Rgun Russian kits, this is what we did. Awesome to see some clones again. Great job on the stampings..

    Cloneing dreams come true

Looks great, the early guns are interesting.

Etching is way better then engraving, I could tell that was the paint... I love it, I feel like it makes the projects come alive.

I just painted a bolt with a brush and it looks legit.

I think the paint job looks perfect. If you need help just email me and I will try, if I donít have the answer I will ask someone who does.

That is a very cool project with the "trainer" rifle and it turned out great! Nice touch with the three spot welds over the dimple. I got to shoot a Bulgarian 1966 production Type 3 that was a trainer and was reactivated. Here are the markings on it.
