Call Two Rivers and ask if he will mill the stubs out then press them like the tutorial B wrote, they use my paint. Mario uses my paint too and he can save the dimples. The only reason I say Tim first is I know him better.

I will be dropping a limited 1:1 clone of the early originals, made from hardened barstock and literally mirror perfect. I probably canít charge enough to keep them in stock.

Each one milled manually. They will be batches of 10, first product is Russian 1980-1989 AK74N rails. The mid to late ones were made with a cast blank. Iím skipping that, the ones I will be making will be the most accurate reproís in existence. We trashed the first 10 because of a incorrect cut 2.5mm short. Non critical too.

Then we move to early AK74M rails, RPK74N/M rails... and not sure what else. All small batch, he can barely fit 2-3 10 rail batches in a year so...

    Thanks,

Could you post pictures of your rail vs a Collector's Source rail? Im interested to see the differences

Mine arenít for sale yet, so they are vapor ware until they are. Iím hoping the project still happens. Use one of the others and swap it out later if you want. You need to compare an original to the other one, if you canít tell a difference use the rmp and save the headache.

Iím doing everything I can to save the project. Some things changed since I responded out of my control.

    These will be limited.

I am not trying to take $ from Dougís old business, these will be higher in price. The limitations of what was previously achieved is based on the Machinest only... a lot of time R&D, money went into that deal. Itís an excellent product with a good track record.

These cost more to make and not sure I can get steady supply. Like I said we scrapped first ten over a minor issue. The holes may not line up with the other rails made by other companies.

I hate this next part, Iím going to number them 1-9 - if they get flipped on GB for double Iíll just not sell anymore to you. I did this for me and collectors. I will refund $ if you donít like it.

Pics of real ones are courtesy of Mr. Rob Stott - with his permission I present mine against the real ones. Not mine against the RMP as suggested.
