The trunnion looks casted. 2005 Izzy??? Humm... maybe a trunnion from a super secret AKM project back is 2005. They have perfected the riveting, and now only two are required!!!! The barrel pin area is super reinforced and larger than other normal akm trunnion...

But it does smell like a virgin paki.

Odd that a 2005 Izzy trunnion has the bullet guide that includes the bolt turning ramp.

Virgin trunions all have only two rivet holes.

Wynn- Looks to be an AK-74 trunnion. Measure the opening to see if it's 22mm.

The rivet hole patterns came up in another thread yesterday. The middle rivet holes in an AK-74 trunnion are the only ones that aren't countersunk. Unlike the other four holes, they are drilled during the assembly process while the trunnion is installed in the receiver shell.

If anyone has any thoughts as to the purpose of doing it that way, I'd love to hear them. This is a take-off trunnion from a built rifle, so it has those middle two holes.

its a virgin bulgarian trunnion from k-var by the looks and the engravings look to be from Ted Marshell judging by the way the quill on the arrow is ingraved.

it looks like it has a 21 stamp on top.. if you can show us a better picture of that 21 on top.. id say Bulgarian 74.. I dunno about the weird markings the izzy and those numbers look weiird dont look original to me but I'm not 100% about those .. but someone above said it has a 545 feed ramp which id say that also .. and the 21 stemp on top tells me Bulgarian. 74

Also I have bought a couple trunnions from kvar/arsenal in the past few years and the holes look similar .. barrel pin hole started from 1 side only .. and only 4 rivet holes .. I would be weary and pay attention while building with this .. with the camming of the bolt and as it enters the trunnion .. in my experience with one of my virgin trunnion from kvar.. it was a 762 virgin trunnion my bolt didn't want to enter the trunnion str8 and cam " cam i.e. " rotate to the right because the ramp on the left needed extensive work.. .. with my experience with these " virgin trunnions they do require more work then the " I can c" pay a lot of attention to how the bolt goes in and rotates and locks .. make sure the ramp is rotating the bolt evenly , head space, and especially head space and lock evenly..
