More kits are on the way

    Just be patient.
It is a slow process, but the Romanian Military is switching over to Western style weapons (bought and manufactured domestically).
In 2019 they started producing their new battle rifle the Beretta ARX series.

    Where's the proof you said?

    Here:

Is Cugir making them or some other entity?
Constantly studying spots welds, mag well dimple shapes, center support rivet heads and selector markings for the last 12 years...

BTW - Keep your BFH away from my AK!

WTB Late East German 7.62 top cover and gas tube numbered 687.

Cugir is not making any of the new weapons. They will continue with the AK style line.
Everything else will be imported except for ARX160A3.

There are two prototypes known to the public made at Cugir. One goes back about 8 years, the other about 2.

One does not even have a public name, maybe some internal code. It's simply called assault rifle 5.56x45.
It has a charging handle on the right side off the gas tube.

There is no other information available at this time about the state of production, export contracts, internal use or anything.
Just the fact that both were made at Cugir and some pictures.

    This is NAT1

Those don't look like Beretta ARX's.
Rights are inherent. They do not come from another's wallet.

    Absolutely not.

Please quote my entire post for clarification.

I quoted the part that's relative to what I said. You mentioned a specific rifle, so it leads one to expect to see that rifle. No big deal. I thought you might have missed posting pictures of the ARX's.

Real quick, Romania is in the process of designing a new battle rifle consistent with NATO standards. The ARX160 is a stop-gap between the current period and whenever Cugir SA gets the new rifle through testing. The new rifle system has been in testing for nearly 9 years now.

    The
procurement of new rifles has nothing to do with the current supply of parts kits.

There is even a bullpup entry. Different manufacturers (state owned companies actually) have come up with different models. Nothing has been decided yet about those domestic designs.
Beretta ARX is the only certain rifle currently in production destined for the military.

    The procurement
of new rifles has nothing to do with the current supply of parts kits.

Kits will become available as they, for certain, will get rid of the used AKs currently in storage and in use.
With the new weapon systems coming in, the old ones will become obsolete.
