    Polish AK crate spotted

So i picked up this Polish AK crate from a seller local to me on Armslist. I went to get a Mosin Nagant crate he had advertised, because I've been wanting to convert 1 to a coffee table. I ended up with a Chinese SKS, a Russian Mosin, and this Polish AK crate. I think I'll start with making this Polish crate into a coffee table. I'll be putting 3 AKMs and 2 AKMSs as well as a Polish armorers kit. It didn't have the spacers, but I found the weapons list with the import or packaging date on it. Kind of interesting to see the different dates and serial numbers.

It's missing the top wood bands but I may leave them off anyways since I'd prefer a smooth top. Probably do a glass window and some LEDs in there. Eh... something to do.

    Close......it's a '34 Chevy Master sedan rat.

I just snapped a pic real quick and didn't even notice I left the German AA gunsight sitting on the air cleaner. I'd just picked it up at a gun show this winter. It's not attached, yet. I haven't decided to weld it to the air cleaner or maybe attach it to the cowl.

I guess you guys can be trusted... In my free time (when I'm not converting commie gun crates into fine furniture) I'm taking down mob thugs and mafioso types in this mean machine.

Good find. I had to build one from scratch. Not exactly to specs, I just made crap up but it works.

On the radiator cap the sight must go. :P some 1919 barrel sleeves for the pipes.

Wolfhound very nice inspo. I want a smooth top like that but I also want to keep it hinged. I think I'll have to add the top straps after all to keep the glass window in place. I just won't make them as tall so I don't tip over my beer.

Anytime, scottyb! It's a Honda chopper with no front brakes which makes it a bit sketchy to ride. I find myself using my boots to come to a complete stop. My garage is just a giant toy box.

will, it's too long with the rear peep to put on the rad cap. Plus I have an old Indian head I might put there.

I've seen pictures of this that you posted before. This is absolutely outstanding and a labor of love. Not to mention the 10 beauties you have in there. If this were mine it would be in the middle of my living room no matter what the wife said!
