how many guys have Polish cutaway trainers or red stripe trainers

It would be interesting to make a list for information on training kits in collections I would like to compile and post a list of serial numbers and any posted photos of these collector items. If this is something you collectors want to contribute to I would post the results. Complete serial numbers are important. NO NAMES OF OWNERS OR CONTRIBUTORS.If you do not know serial number because you did not get the stub just blist the bolt carrier number. Send info to [email protected]

    Cool variations on those trainers.
I was interested in a kit when APEX had them. But I kinda backed off on a non firing kit for the money they were asking.
    Cool items though.

The thing about collecting ak rifles is that you try and get all the various countries and variations. The training rifles are a real collectors piece when you think of how many are available. I have the cut away, full stock red stripe and red stripe underfolder. I would like to get the other countries school rifles as well. Also these rifles could be made to shoot and still be a collectors piece by putting original bolts back in place.

those are very cool. I used to have a 1919 .30 Browning Trainer. it was cool, but it was too dang big to keep around, so I sold hit. biggest thing I've ever had to ship.

I have a red stripe underfolder trainer kit. It is a mix master kit and I am willing to trade parts to make it better or to help others that need these numbers. I would also be willing to trade the stock out for a fixed stock.

    The LHG is numbered: TE00603
The site leaf and recoil: 15051
The gas tube, bolt, bolt carrier, and top cover: 21083
    selector lever is not numbered

    bolt face.JPGLHG.JPGRS and RR.JPGAll.JPG

The bolt is welded up but only on the face. There is a firing pin that is bobbed in there. I have no idea on the date of the main parts and did not get the stub.
