Bulgarian waffle mags were originally selling for $7 each. Between KVAR forcing out Global Trades and one supplier going to jail because he got greedy on machine guns, then folks paying what KVAR charged when they decided to release a bunch of mags they 'found in the warehouse' is why they are now $70+ when found.

Continuing to cave to suppliers greed only feeds it! I sincerely hope the Hungarians fight it and sell for a fair price for4 them and us.
Parts kits used to be dirt cheap also. I got my first two Romy G kits from BOCEFUS for $89 each. When I was a kid gas was 23 cents a gallon. Times change get over it or find a new hobby. If you don't like someone's asking price shop somewhere else.

A loaf of bread used to be a nickel too....so? Inflation & supply and demand are a thing people. Also, leftists across the world work 24/7 to make things more expensive in a tireless effort to "show" that capitalism is a failed system. Just think about what liberals have done to fuel costs alone, with their green bullshit. It increases the cost of everything we buy. How about what their trial lawyer buddies have done to increase costs for every business in the country? How about healthcare?

A lot of it is just the demand side of the equation as well. Bakelite mags are not even close to rare, but people love them, so the price goes up. It isn't gouging. Wanna "fight the system", get yourself several thousand mags and sell them for less than the market rate. Congrats, 15 minutes later the market will spring right back to where it was, and a lot of the mags you dumped will get flipped. It's not greed, it's just math and economics. Don't like it, don't buy whatever it is you think is overpriced. Problem solved.

People that complain about this never seem to remember that these things shift in their favor just as often. In the 90s a good AR was $1k. Now you can get a perfectly functional one for half that. Who wants to line up to bitch about that?

Quality stuff is worth the price of admission. Always will be.

I think importers are nuts a bit in my opinion.

We have one distributor who we tried selling magazines to..
They wanted COD and right to inspect agreement.

They rejected the whole lot and while my boss says..we got everything intact. There was magazines that aren't Hungarian in origin and were switched around during

My boss doesn't believe me and some of you know me already as THAT guy...
I have a THAT guy badge ....guys..I wear it with pride.

End of day..I am working on it and we have meetings this week with several.

Keep a positive thought and let's see what happens.

    Ok.

The engineers found the drawings for the NGM magazines.

They were made by Fég and not by anyone else.

Getting the picture today of the drawing and blueprint.
NGM barrels and the 3 shipping crates of parts.

Give me a gauge so I can measure it and do a graphic size portrayal.

Love the retro blueprints/schematics. Manual drafting, when well done, was art in and of itself. A lost art in the computer age unfortunately. Do you guys have the core components to make many of these 556 guns?

    Yes.....
From 3 containers we have enough for about 25 to 30 guns but the problem is magazines..we gotta make the magazines.

Also maybe new barrels also as these are 1:12 twist I believe.

If y'all are going to make 'new' barrels, why not a more useful 1 in 9 twist? I say this as 1 in 12 is for light bullets like 45-55 grain. They prefer 40 grain. 1 in 9 allows you to stabilize 55-62 well.

There's no point in doing 1/7 as you can't load the heavy bullets that would benefit from it in the magazines. 1/9 is a good compromise.

The same magazine length restriction applies to AR15's. People just load them one at a time in to AR15's to get around it.
