The Turkish HiPowers are $500 and are really nice. I’d buy an FEG for $600, but I’m a collector. The vast majority for the potential market would just want one and would buy whatever’s less expensive assuming equal quality.

Rights are inherent. They do not come from another's wallet.
The Turkish guns are okay although they suffer from typical Turkish QC.
I like the idea of the stainless model. The main thing I don't like is the funky radius at the grip tang. Not sure why TISAS chose to not follow the FN radius.
If and when FEG guns come back it will likely start somewhat of a price war. As with Turkish 1911s this will likely start a "race to the bottom" to see who can make the cheapest aka lowest quality gun.

I came across some information, that I forgot where from, that was trying to say that the Hungarian highpowers had different grips than the Browning ones. That maybe the grip screws were in a slightly different place that prevents the use of Browning or after market grips. This could be totally false, but you may want to confirm it since the end purchasers may want the option of customizing their pistol.
The S&W hybrid guns use different grips but the PJK-9HP, Kareen, P9, Mauser 80SA and Charles Daly all take standard Hi Power grips.
With that said, there can be some minor fitment problems across the various import models and the makers of grip. Even then it isn't a super big deal.

So after fiddling with Google Translate a bunch, the best I've been able to come up with on the cleaning kit portion of the AMD 65 poster is below. Could use some help on #4 and#7, looks like commie punch and jag, but it doesn't appear to be a direct translation so...wth?

Some stuff that was returned from the ministry from a rejected 2020 upgrade design we sent them..
I know from reading the criteria....that ordering stuff from overseas was out of the question due to cost.

We've got a hell of a lot more in common with the fellow citizens we're being trained to hate than the puppetmasters training us to hate them.

Kalashnikov Collectors Association
They asked for it....
We presented to them off the market items and they wanted it cheaper and cheaper and cheaper.
Gotta remember this was the times of the socialist government...
Got all excited when we entered NATO but shit their pants when they forgot about the mandatory minimum spending for defense .
Then FEG went bankrupt.due to a lack of export permit approvals during that time.
I'm seeing a pattern on things but gradually we had to make bread during that time and so FEG did a lot of internal market setups like gas conversions and other stuff and concentrated on a military contract that I doubt they could have gotten even with a billion dollars.
It was a shady setup.

The guy put Hungary in the hole for 132 billion and was very near bankrupt with less than the gold reserve in the bank.
And it all started when the Socialist came back to power.
Ever since I started here in February I've been obsessed with reading all of the FEG journals...
Thousands and thousands of it...
This is my conclusion along with mismanagement but I can't fully blame mismanagement when a company can't export its products.
I kept thinking guys that they could have survived....
But this was impossible....but then again..this is what socialist do....
