I finally got around to taking some pictures of this 'ol clunker recently. I looked for one of these for many years and finally found one to my liking last year. Part of what made it so hard for me was finding detailed closeup pictures so that i knew what to look for. That's why I took these. Other than replacing the sland comp. with a muzzle nut and the addition of a Soviet mag., it's how it left the factory. We all know that there is lots of variation in these and I also know that lots of you guys have one so please post some detailed pictures of your own.....especially the areas where there are slight differences like importer and factory marks, both the sprung and non sprung firing pins, bayonet attachment points, pistol grips and all the other stuff I missed. Together we can make it easier for the next guy looking for one and save him the head scratching I went through! Thanks!!
That cleaning kit is awesome, I've never seen pictures of that. Consider your mission accomplished, for me at least!
Ditto on the kudos.
Nor had I seen a proper cleaning kit prior to seeing your pic, Wilhelm.

Nice, that cleaning kit is cool.
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

That model is also one of my most coveted Chinese variants. Good job and congrats on finally getting one.

Great pics! When the CA AW ban gets thrown out, one of the first ones I'll get is a preban bakelite sidefolder.
I see I'm not the only one planning for this day... I could use me some of those 20rd magazines that were being sold for friggin' $10Originally Posted by qbertquartz2
I have two of these. 73 guns apart in serial numbers. One has slant brake and one with muzzle nut.
