Life as usual gets busy, plus dealing with a major infection in my leg causing me a hospital stay has me playing a bit of catch up.
Work is HORRENDOUSLY busy. And I'm not complaining. New contract for the Marines completes the circle, and the Co. I work for now supplies ALL branches of the military. Doing my part to help keep our guys and gals safe. Google MRAP to see some of what I'm up to.
I have a handful of protos, but they are all adjustments to the final design, a thou here and there tweaking. While they work, I'm a perfectionist and if that sight doesnt sit EXACTLY right on the rail adjustments are made. A few of them now. Lost count on what version we're at. Final protos should be done by the 26th just in time for my build party. Photo shoot is scheduled too for good photos (so there's clear shots mounted to a rifle) Its a LONG INVOLVED somewhat EXPENSIVE road doing this stuff, just a guy with an idea, trying to make it a reality.
ATP, You're suggestions are duly noted(THANK YOU!)
You also understand the concept well, a slight turn of the bolt carrier and the weapon is field stripped for cleaning without removal.
Thanks for the patience guys!! Its coming soon, PROMISE!!
