    Bolt impacting fwd trunnion

    Hi all,

I have a SDM AK47M and after about 300 rounds I have noticed a small. Impact mark on the left side of the trunnion from the bolt.

What do you think or what can be done, or just ignore It??

It's not been cleaned yet BTW

maybe bullet guide isn't timed right? not sure how plausible hard to see from the pic where on the bullet guide is the wear.
    take another pic.

there should be some wear on the cam surface of the bullet guide but it should be slight finish wear not impact type deformation.
Need some gun-smithing, refinishing work done? Shoot me a PM.

I do not see any unusual impact areas.

There is a tiny mark on the rear of the bullet guide and some normal contact on the turning ramp on the guide area.

Nothing looks out of the ordinary.????

Like akblue said, the wear you're seeing on the turning guide is from where it contacts the bolt and starts it rotating into lockup, it's normal.

Thanks for the reassurance greatly appreciated, I asked as a friend's just shows a polishing type of wear instead of a single impact point.
