    Help with AK jamming...

    Yeah... my AK just won't do it right.

    No matter what I do, it won't jam. I tried HP, FMJ, and even 15 year old laquer cased Wolf HP that had tarnish on the bullet and some rust on the case! I tried Chinese mags, Polish polymer mags, Polish steel mags... it won't jam. It runs no matter what.

    So what is an owner to do?

    I want to forget mistakes they've helped me make;
    Its better to be broken, then to break...

    I suppose you will just have to get an AR!

    Get an AR? Hey, great idea. Next I can sell off all my major organs and jump off a cliff... then again, #2 makes more sense than #1... .

    Yeah, if I got an AR, I would only need one mag and one box of ammo... I would spend the entire day at the range clearing the jams from the first mag, so I wouldn't get to a second.

    Can't you tell how much I love those semi automatic whiffle bats?

    Man, I know this is an AK forum but if you are ever in Western Pa drop me a line via my e-mail contact, I will be glad to let you run my AR. You may change your mind. Of course I will bring a "few" of my Kalish's also.

    Can you be more specific as to what the stoppage is on this weapon..

    Failure to fire, failure to extract, failures to eject? How do the extracted casings look like. i.e. Let's start troubleshooting this weapon and get the thought of an AR15 out of your head.... And yeah I found your topic only after >1 month... ops: Then again, how many AK's you heard of that have stoppages...

    Hard to believe but my two AR's run better then my Yugo Ak. Go figure. I feel its just the fact that my AK isn't 'broken in' yet and hasn't had a real good cleaning.

    We'll see though!!!

    Funny both my AKs and ARs run with no problems

    I do have a old CZ-52 7.62x45 rilfe the jams every now and again just so I know what a jam looks like

    Well my driver had a jam at the range the other day with his issued M4, but it was due to a mag that looked like it did 10 tours in Iraq

    Q-gunner2... You definitely have a defective rifle........ Please send it to me immediately. I will use the most modern scientific equipment to determine what is wrong with that rifle. If I cannot correct the problem I will keep that unsafe weapon to prevent you from enjoying it too much.......
