    Tantal Steel vs Romy 5.45

Hey guys, I have a Tantal which I have a good amount of the black Tantal Polymer mags for, but I want to get that original steel mag look for aesthetics and just a change of pace. What is the difference in fit and finish, practical quality and the availability of these different mags?
Any references, links and personal experiences are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The Tantal steel mags are a bit finer finish.
Generally a bit less cost than the Romanian 5.45.

Though both have become more scarce and higher in price.
    Both mags function fine.

In my experience the Tantal mags are a bit more uniform in construction and fitment.

Thanks for the info, I kinda figured that about the fit and finish given the typical quality of Polish vs Romanian stuff. Besides Gun Broker (there's a guy trying to sell a tantal mag for $75 + shipping, so I've ruled that site out) Where might I find some?

I've got a bunch of the Tantal mags stashed away, so I kind of keep an eye on the market value. I'm not interested in selling any, but the current market value seems to be around $50 plus shipping. I don't have any experience with the Romanian 5.45 mags, but typically, the Polish stuff is of higher quality.

I had a few in my cart and went back to purchase them today but they're gone now. 😞

The steel mags are a LOT heavier then the Bakelite and resin mags. I have also come across several dented Tantal mags that wouldn't feed past the dent. (cut them off and made 5 and 10 rounders out of them) Never had a broken or dented Bakelite or resin mag. Would trust my life to all three types. No complaints there.
