    Help with Chinese ID

I was going through Chinese mags tonight, and ran across this one that has what appears to be a stamped mag catch. I will admit, Chinese variants are pretty foreign to me. Can anyone give me info on these particular mags?

China had a plethora of different AK making factories back in the day. Just about every factory had either an internal manufacturing of mags or was a cottage industry outside the factory that supplied mags. Each shop making them were little loose in how they made them so long as they had standard fitment and worked.

Hard to narrow that one down to any particular factory or shop.

The same stamped mag catch appears on the "all-stamp" or "stamp top" mags as well. Merely an attempt to reduce manufacturing costs, nothing more.

The stamped mag catch on a standard mag is not very common to see but there are some out there. Clearly didn't cut the mustard because it appears they only made so many and stopped.

A nice oddball for the collection!
