Well, those magazines are made in the Niko Enina plant and especially 30 rounds are not bad. Only issue with them is that locking lug is not reinforced. In fact springs are the same like in circle 10 magazines, and folower is relatively the same. I have few of them and if waffle mags are not available they are good enough .

What do you mean the lug is not reinforced? It is metal., but the lug is different than the waffle somehow?

Well there is SOME reinforcement but not solid metal like in Arsenal waffle. In fact (lucky we) in Bulgaria both magazines are available and price of waffle is not so scary But Niko magazines are good enough (30 rounds) - 10 and 40 are not so good.

Thanks for the source and info Blue and Thrasher. I'm patiently awaiting my order.

Now as mentioned earlier in this thread, if they could just offer the same in 5.45.

I ordered 4 of the these mags last week, they came today. Very nice, I put a magnet on the feedlips, front mag catch and rear lug, all are magnetic. The rear lug is plastic with a covering of metal, thin but the actual wear surface is metal. Might be a bit before I get to the range with these but for the price I think its a winner.

These would also be a good candidate for painting, wrap it with that Paki bicycle tape, even modify by cutting down or stick in a window.

They take to paint excellent, was thinking about windowing one.
I did alot of deliberate reloads. 30 rounds in 1 mag, 1 in the gun and none in the mag I originally drop tested.
This is the mag I originally drop tested and it ran great afterwards. It ate the desert 30+ times.

    EDIT-Why pics no workie?
2nd EDIT, google can eat me.

I am not sure for new lots but mine was without steel reinforcement. I order two from new production and I will check them end of the week. Here they are really cheap- something like 12 bucks. Original Waffl “circle 10” is 20 bucks and you need to have somebody in the factory to get them.

Not much of a test, but I shot one of the ones I received through one of my AK's. It ran like a champ with no issues. It locked perfectly in that AK, though that doesn't mean much when it comes to other AK's.
