Nice, I just sold my Type 63 collection. I had 3 star mags at one point but could not locate the stamped star mags. So I figured I might as well give up as that was a lost cause... Nice mags though man
If you are talking expensive/collectible i do not have many. Now if you are talking fully operational
and useful........not enough. Another look at me thread.
It's a toss up between these two groups.
My two WASR 10/63s with a Bosnian FDL in the underfolder and a Croatian double rib in the fixed stock. I feel like I stole the FDL some days seeing what they go for now... I found it complete with folded metal follower at a gun show and got a 10 round M10/45 magazine thrown in for the price.
Another group of favorites is the bakelite 40 round RPK magazines. The fakelite on the end is a trip.
WTB Magazines: Bosnian Single Rib, Pakistani Steel 40 Round, Egyptian Waffle, and all other rare 7.62x39 magazines.
Beautiful man. What mold numbers are they, 1 or 2?
Figure I would share some of my favorites. Not even close to my most expensive or most valuable, but these are the ones I get the greatest kick out of.
Prototype RK95 Valmet mag in 7.62. Very similar to the well known "castle" mag but with a few subtle differences. As far as I know, the only one in the states. Still has a piece of tape on its side denoting how much fiber filler went in to the batch this is from.
Experimental Russian aluminum 7.62 magazine. These mags are just too cool that they are the same typical pattern as most other eastern bloc type magazines but made entirely of aluminum and feel like they weigh next to nothing.
Very cool 5.45 technicians example all plastic Izh magazine. No metal in the body, even the lugs are plastic.
Sadly I don't have pics handy but my favorite magazine is a simple Tula plum 5.45 that is really a dark almost chocolate color. As nice as they get and a gift from a friend. Also love my side stamped Izzy magazines. Not a super collectible but pretty tough to find in excellent condition.
For some reason my attachments won't show so added them from my Photobucket account.

You guys are NOT helping me with this thread. I shouldn't have looked but I did and now the search is on. Very nice all around.
I started collecting much to my wallets dismay early this summer. I've found a 103 slab and rib as well as rk95, these are by far my 3 favorite mags. However, recently I've received some blued east Germans I'm loving.
No, sorry. It was a standard M14 with a "Super Sniper" brand mildot scope.
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.
