Strange thing about the fleur-de-lis and two rib magazines is that I've never seen a wartime photo of a combatant with either of these. Anyone have any photos? Maybe the photos are everywhere I'm just missing them?

Still waiting for AKRaider and Tantal to post...

Myself, nothing over $75 for a mag so far. My Tula plum is probably the rarest in my meager collection although the aluminum waffles are my favorites. I would kill for a green bakelite 74 mag.... and pretty sure nothing short of bodily harm and international espionage would score one!

$100 for one sans the soldiers name and in very good shape.

Re: most you have ever payed for a single mag?

I have a fairly extensive collection of books and magazines (the print kind!) on this topic. I have looked and haven't found a single photo of a FDL or two-rib magazine in action. This has had me wondering if they weren't a postwar manufacture.

What I do see are the Yugo BHOs of course, typical East Bloc Euro magazines and the occasional Chinese style.

Last summer I was a mag whore. I spent $275 for an Izzy RPK74 Bakelite mag I sold to AKRaider, $300 for a black RPK74M mag, and $250 for a plum RPK74 mag. Sold them all to fund another project.
