    Wolf Gold/Prvi Partizan 5.56 M193 quasi review

got my case from my favorite brown truck, faced with little or nothing else to do on my day off I decided to rip some apart to see how consistant they ended up being, I'm pretty happy with the five I pulled apart.

    Round: 1 2 3 4 5
    OAL 2.248 2.246 2.250 2.255 2.248
    Charge 23.8 23.5 23.9 23.9 23.4
    Bullet wt. 54.9 55.0 55.0 54.7 55.3
    Case wt. 100.0 99.3 99.2 99.9 99.2
    Case oal 1.755 1.755 1.754 1.754 1.756

I'll be taking this out to the range come monday hopefully with a chrono to test them out for velocity and accuracy, but I've got fairly high hopes for it from what I've seen here, especially considering the price(~$0.21/round)

UPDATE: chrono results for a string of 10(16" HBAR chrome lined bushmaster barrel) seems plenty hot to me

not too terrible, it ran well, I had two failure to feeds out of the 160 I fired today, but both were attributed to the POS range mag I was using. I was averaging 3.5-4 MOA with 10 shot groups using irons on paper plate targets.(but I was having a terrible day shooting, rushing the trigger, just basically sucking at life)

What kind of rifle are you going to put it through?

Any AR's? I'd really like to know...I'm needing some ammo to feed my AR but have been holding back on this stuff until there's been more feedback...

I've shot that stuff out of a 10.5" M16 Carbine, and it worked great.

My Arsenal M5 ate it up too.

I haven't tried it in my Colt AR-15A2 yet, but I've ben happy with this stuff so far.

As soon as you get some stuff chrono'd, please post it.

I should have it chronoed through my class/match rig here:

mostly bushy 16" HBAR, I can hold about 2-2.5" groups at 100 with standard fed AE 55 grain, so we'll see come monday.

no 5.56 AK here to test it out of unfortunately.

shoot a line of water(milk) jugs at like , 50ft. , and see what kind of fragments you get

often , you can get a ruff idea of its frag range , for instance , nearly all brands will frag @50ft. but , if it only flattens , bends and/or breaks in half at the cannelure @50ft. you cant count on it to frag very much farther out .

if it "bombs to bits" , its likened too standard M193 .

haveing chrono data at the same shot makes for invaluable info

    Thanks for the review.

chrono results for a string of 10(16" HBAR chrome lined bushmaster barrel

    a muzzle velocity of 3,250 q 40 fps from a 20 inch test barrel
Not bad results, if only it were a lil cheaper.

I got that stuff for $209 for 1000 rounds shipped from sportsmans guide, it shipped the day after I ordered it. Seems like the best deal going especially if you use a coupon. When my GI Bill hits next month my UPS guy is going to hate me
